| The South Tucson Prevention Collaborative (STPC) is a Coalition that services the City of South Tucson, an urban area with a population of 5,500 comprised of 72% Mexican Americans, 9% other Latino, and 10% Native Americans. Our long term goals are:
- to expand and strengthen collaboration among Coalition members to support prevention and reduction of youth substance use
- to prevent or delay adolescent (9-15yrs) first use of alcohaol, tobacco, marijuana, inhalants, and methamphetamines through perception of risk and harm from drugs and disapproval of drug use by peers and family
